Still As The Wind Blows

Posted on: April 29, 2010

In seeing a lot of windmills in Indiana today while driving, I thought a lot about being still. It seemed that the windmills were like humans. Some were very still and calm, some were running ever so slowly and still in motion, some actually looked like they were moving backwards, and some were moving extremely fast.

, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10)

Which one are you?

Interesting introspection: the human windmill. When the winds come, you can use its motion to fuel your energy or stand still and let it pass by.

Good morning, Kim. Which type of windmill am I? Today is Thursday — a protected day for writing. That means I’m in concentrated, forward motion. Not fast. Not slow. But definitely steady-eddie. I hope you have a fantastic day!

Had a great day. we inspected a day lab at a Hospital in Muncie Indiana. Met a lot of great people making a difference in health care!
We then had dinner about 7:30, then went back to our rooms to write up all our findings. We will have a summation meeting tommorrow morning and then back to Chicago.

I am glad these 13-14 hour days only happen once in a while with my boss…

Have a great evening. P.S….I need a neck massage!
